VISION BOARD WORKSHOPS
Studies show that goals and dreams are far more attainable when they can be seen. Using poster boards, magazine clippings, crafts, and creative ingenuity, each participant develops a visual representation of their future. The introspective nature of the Vision Board Workshops provides a plan and tangible reminder of the power that our youth possess in making their future as bright and bountiful as they are willing to work for it to become. Impactful motivational speakers and inspiring volunteers offer assistance throughout the Vision Board Workshops and take-home packets with educational and career resources are also made available.

FINANCIAL LITERACY WORKSHOPS
Economic education & financial literacy disparities account for significant socioeconomic challenges throughout the communities we serve. Our Financial Literacy Forums are designed to assist young adults in learning integral money management skills to include budgeting, saving, credit building, investments, fraud prevention, and financial planning.
Through collaborative partnerships with local banks, industry-back financial education is provided, and students are offered the opportunity to start their very own bank accounts. Through the A Dream in You Foundation’s Financial Literacy Forums, credit advisors and investment groups lend their expertise in teaching youth the importance of investing and saving money, while also emphasizing the importance of good to excellent credit scores. Each participant completes the forum equipped with a better understanding of finance and credit strategies.
